The Rode VideoMic Pro is a compact and lightweight shotgun microphone.  It allows filmmakers to improve the sound quality over the cameras built-in microphone.  The VideoMic can be mounted directly onto your camera or boom pole using the integrated shock-mount, and a permanently attached 3.5mm TRS cable allows you to easily connect the microphone to your cameras audio input jack.

The Rode VideoMic focuses on the sound in front of the microphone while weakening sounds from the side and rear, whereas most in-built camera microphone pick up sound from all directions.

The Auray Windbuster is included to provide a dual-layered wind protection, greatly reducing unwanted wind noise and vocal pops with minimal high frequency loss.
